About Dr. Arora
Dr. Ashish Arora is board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine. His patient approach centers around active communication, compassionate care, and hard work. He completed his medical school training at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He subsequently finished his residency training and fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois with a specialty fellowship specifically in Hepatology.
Dr. Arora brings with him clinical expertise in general gastroenterology including GERD (Heartburn), peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease), IBS, colon cancer and colon cancer screening. In Dr. Arora’s hepatology specialty he provides his patients with clinical treatment of Hepatitis B and C, and a special interest in treating diseases of the liver. Dr. Arora performs a variety of procedures including EGDs, Colonoscopies, BRAVO studies, ERCPs, and Fibroscans. He continues to teach at residency programs at West Suburban Hospital and Lutheran General Hospitals here in Illinois. He is a member of a member of several gastrointestinal professional societies and has won awards including “Senior Resident Teaching Recognition” from Loyola University Medical Center.
