About Dr. Naryzhny
Dr. Naryzhny embodies a holistic, patient-centered and compassionate approach to his patients. He treats each patient as an individual, with kindness and respect providing quality care but also emphasizing the development of a warm patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Naryzhny believes that taking preventive steps in daily living truly leads to a healthy life.
Dr. Igor Naryzhny is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology. He completed his internal medicine training and fellowship in gastroenterology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital where he also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Naryzhny has been a notably published researcher in a variety of journals and abstracts including the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Journal, and an invited presenter and lecturer for numerous gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
During his training he received Fellow of the Year Research Award and was also honored with the Intern of the Year Award. Dr. Naryzhny is a member of several gastrointestinal professional societies and actively participates in the training of current gastroenterology fellows at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He has served as a clinical lecturer at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
When not helping his patients, Dr. Naryzhny spends with his family, enjoys traveling and a variety of sports.
