About Paula Duff
Paula Duff is a board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) who is dedicated to give patient focused care at Lakeshore Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Institute. She works closely with the team of doctor specialists to provide care for patients GI related procedures.
Paula is passionate about high-quality care and trusting patient relationship. She integrates comprehensive approach to patient care.
Paula’s started after completing her bachelors degree in nursing she began work as an surgical unit at Rush University Medical Center Orthopedics. She continued her focus on emergency care and worked in an administrative role of Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager at Glenbrook Hospital. As a registered nurse she continued to focus on immediate care and a specialty nurse in pre and post operative endoscopy.
She received her master's degree in nursing with a subspecialty in family nurse practice from North Park University and completed her bachelor of science in nursing at Rush University. She has worked at Advocate Aurora Health, Des Plaines Endoscopy Center, Glenbrook Hospital and Rush University Medical Center. Currently she is a family nurse practitioner at Lakeshore Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Institute. Paula has a reputation for being calm and caring with her patients.
Her interests include colon cancer screening awareness and prevention, and management of acute or chronic GI conditions to prevent further progression of disease. Paula strongly believes in being proactive about any condition versus reactive, as early detection and treatment can prevent pain and suffering.
As a nurse practitioner at LGLDI, Paula works with a multidisciplinary team of specialists focused on gastroenterology, endoscopy, and surgery to offer comprehensive care for patients. She works closely providing nursing care for patients in acute care and outpatient management. She is also focused on continually improving services offered by the facility.
She is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
